Professor Arjun Singh Bedi

Arjun Singh Bedi is Professor of Development Economics and Deputy Rector for Research at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Prior to joining ISS in 1999, he held positions at the University of Bonn (1998-99) and Columbia University (1996-98). In 2013-2014 he was visiting professor at Georgetown University’s campus in Doha. His research focuses on labour and human resource economics in developing countries. His work has been published in several international economics and development studies journals including European Economic Review, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Health Economics, Journal of Development Studies, Applied Economics, Labour Economics, Economics of Transition,Economics of Education Review and World Development.

Professor Jessica Pan

Professor Jessica Pan is Vice Provost (Graduate Education) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She is also Dean of NUS Graduate School (NUSGS). Prior to that, she was Vice Dean of Academic Programmes at NUSGS, Deputy Head of Research at the Department of Economics, and Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). A labour economist by training, Prof Pan has been highly recognised for her research on applied topics in gender, education, and immigration. In recognition of her research accomplishments, she was awarded the NUS Young Researcher Award in 2022, Dean’s Chair in 2019, and the FASS Award for Promising Researcher in 2015.

Professor Fang Lee Cooke

Dr. Fang Lee Cooke is a Distinguished Professor at Monash University’s Faculty of Business and Economics, Melbourne, Australia, and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. She is a panel member of the UNEP-ISC foresight Expert Panel (2023–2024). Before joining Monash, she was a professor at Manchester Business School, UK, and held roles at RMIT University, Melbourne, and Sun Yat-sen University, China. Fang has authored/co-authored over 160 journal articles, 70 book chapters, and several books, including HRM, Work and Employment in China (2005) and Competition, Strategy and Management in China (2008). Her research focuses on employment relations, gender studies, diversity management, strategic HRM, and the impact of AI and digitalization on work.

Professor Lui Hon-Kwong

Professor LUI Hon-Kwong is a Professor in the Department of Marketing and International Business. From 2017 to 2022, he was Associate Vice President, overseeing units like the Registry, Core Curriculum and General Education Office, Office of Communications and Public Affairs, and Lingnan Institute of Further Education. He also served as Acting Director of Communications and Public Affairs and Head of his department. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from The University of Hong Kong and has experience as a marketing executive and Statistician in the civil service. His research focuses on labour economics, applied marketing research, and Hong Kong’s economy. Beyond academia, he serves as Council Member and Audit Committee Chairman at The Education University of Hong Kong and holds various roles in government and professional bodies. He has also published over 120 commentaries on education, public policy, the economy, and the labour market.

Associate Professor Harvey Nguyen

Harvey Nguyen is an Associate Professor in Finance at Massey Business School, Massey University. He earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Monash University, receiving the Vice Chancellor’s Commendation for Thesis Excellence. His research focuses on sustainable finance, corporate governance, capital markets, and behavioral finance, with recent work on climate change, labor finance, fund management, corporate social responsibility, and financial accounting. Harvey has published in top journals like Journal of Banking and Finance and Journal of Business Ethics. His research has been presented at over 100 conferences and has earned multiple awards, including the Boyle, Lally, and Rose Trophy (2020), NZX Best Paper Award (2021), and CFA Institute ARX Best Paper Awards (2022, 2023). He serves as Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member for several high-ranking journals and has reviewed for over 50 journals and major finance conferences worldwide.

Professor Jo Bensemann

School of Management and Marketing, Massey University, New Zealand

Professor Jo Bensemann currently serves as Head of School for the School of Management and Marketing at Massey Business School. Her research centers on entrepreneurship, small business management, and innovation, with an emphasis on collaborative projects both within Massey and internationally. She is currently involved in two MURF-funded projects: one examines internet use and social networks among small businesses; the other investigates the drivers of innovation processes in technology-based small firms (TBSFs) operating in New Zealand’s agri-food and agri-business sectors. In addition, Professor Bensemann maintains active research interests in family business dynamics and gender issues, particularly focusing on women’s experiences in entrepreneurship and small business leadership.
