ACBES 2026 GUIDELINES

#August 3

ACBES Lecture for PhD Student

The PhD Colloquium at ACBES 2026 provides a dedicated academic platform for doctoral candidates to present their ongoing or completed research, receive constructive scholarly feedback, and connect with senior academics and peers. The colloquium is designed to support PhD students in refining their research questions, strengthening theoretical and methodological rigor, and enhancing publication readiness. The PhD Colloquium is anticipated selecting over 60 high-quality research papers for presentation

Participation in the PhD Colloquium requires the submission of a full paper aligned with the conference themes. Along with the full paper, authors are required to submit proof of doctoral enrollment, specifically a valid PhD Admission/Decision Document that confirms their candidacy status at the time of submission. Accepted participants will present their work in structured sessions, followed by academic discussion and feedback from experienced scholars.

Main Conference

The Main Conference will host a series of parallel sessions, where we anticipate accepting more than 120 high-quality research papers for presentation from regular authos. Papers accepted to the Main Conference will also have the opportunity to be considered and encouraged for submission to our partnered journals, offering an important pathway for extended academic dissemination. We warmly welcome submissions that align with the suggested topics, demonstrate methodological rigor, and contribute novel insights to the field. Researchers with innovative ideas, strong empirical evidence, and impactful findings are especially encouraged to join this prestigious academic platform.

Attendance in person is required for all presenters. ACBES 2026 offers a unique opportunity for PhD candidates and regular authors to sharpen their research contributions, gain meaningful insights from expert discussants, and expand their professional academic network within the ACBES research community to submit their final paper to JABES. ACBES 2026 warmly welcomes submissions from motivated doctoral researchers committed to advancing high-quality research

All submissions to ACBES 2026 are subject to a double-blind peer review process, ensuring impartiality and academic rigor in the selection of conference papers. Consistent with previous ACBES conferences, this review system maintains the anonymity of both authors and reviewers throughout the evaluation process. By submitting your paper to ACBES 2026, you agree that it will be subjected to a double-blind review process by at least one to two reviewers. If accepted, your paper will then be circulated to other authors within the relevant session for discussion.

#Dual Submission Policy

The organizer of Asia Conference on Business and Economic Studies encourages authors to use the dual submission option for early drafts of their work. It means that authors freely submit their work in any journal or other conferences without any previous prejudice from Asia Conference on Business and Economic Studies. Having a paper rejected while under the dual review procedure in the Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies or other journals is not considered a prevention to submit to ACBES conference. Therefore, the working papers, under-reviewed manuscripts, and published articles are allowed to submit to ACBES without any restrictions.

However, we only consider the working papers, not submitted to elsewhere for the special issue and regular issue publication. The under-reviewed manuscripts and published articles shall not be submitted to JABES regular issue and other special issue journals from conference. Concomitantly, the best paper award can be considered for all types of submissions.

Should you have any question during the review period, please contact us: acbes@ueh.edu.vn
