ACBES 2026

The 8th Asia Conference on Business and Economic Studies (ACBES 2026) will be organized by the Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

ACBES 2026 is organized as part of the 50th anniversary of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), marking five decades of academic excellence and international engagement in economics and business research. Against a backdrop of global polycrisis, rapid AI diffusion, geoeconomic fragmentation, and sustainability transitions, ACBES 2026 aims to move beyond incremental studies toward integrative, theory-driven, and policy-relevant research agendas, particularly from and for Asian contexts. ACBES is held annually, serving as a high-level academic forum for economics and business research

ACBES 2026 will feature the participation of a Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences, alongside internationally renowned scholars from leading universities worldwide, including Editors-in-Chief and senior editors of prestigious international journals, thereby providing a high-level forum for rigorous academic exchange and publication-oriented discussions.

In addition, the conference aims to foster and strengthen dialogue among junior and experienced researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, with the goal of enhancing our collective understanding of the role and functioning of business and economic studies in regional contexts.
